We Won Best Wedding Album 2012 from Professional Photographers of Oregon!

We are so honored to have been awarded the 2012 Best Wedding Album Award from Professional Photographers of Oregon this past weekend! We also won Best Overall Album for the wedding. In addition, we won a Kodak Gallery Award for another album, Amanda & Joe’s Beach Wedding, which we will post soon. All five of our wedding album entries received merits, four of which we have now sent to Professional Photographers of America District Competition, where they will be judged with other entries from the western United States and Canada. Keeping our fingers crossed!

We are excited to announce that we will be in the Riviera Maya in late October and early November this year!! We will be shooting a wedding at Azul Sensatori on November 4th, and will be available to shoot other weddings from approximately October 18th through November 8th. As we will already be there, we are offering NO AIRFARE travel fees!!

While we are there we will be vacationing at either Barcelo Maya Palace, El Dorado Royale, Secrets Maroma Beach, Iberostar Grand Paraiso, or your resort! (Those are some of our favorites though) We may just spend all our time at Azul too as it is a gorgeous property! Please contact me for a custom package quote on your date. As always, if you book with us and get another bride to book while we are there, you will receive a complimentary 40 page wedding album.

We had a great time at the Art of Weddings Bridal Show last week! It was a beautiful event and we met lots of great couples who braved the elements to come to the show. Just a reminder to those who attended that you can still receive your $350 credit for attending.

Doggie Parents Wed on Sauvie Island!

We had the pleasure of shooting our wonderful colleague and friend Alicia and her fiance Steve’s wedding on Sauvie Island a couple of weeks ago. Alicia is a pet photographer, so of course their dog Maya had to be the flower girl! Some of her doggie friends were invited too. Here is just a sneak peek, more to follow soon!

Molly & Derek’s Wedding Photography Album at Queen Anne Mansion, Portland Oregon

We shot Molly & Derek’s wedding at the Queen Anne Mansion in August. It was a gorgeous evening with the best lighting a photographer could ask for. They were such a fun couple and really in love! Clark County Floral did the fabulous flowers, and Helen Bernhard Bakery did their amazing wedding cake. They had a Milan Album in their package, and here is their design.

Rose City Bridal Show This Weekend, Oct 8th & 9th

We just finished setting up our booth for the Rose City Bridal Show this weekend! It is held at the Convention Center in Hall D. You will see our booth as soon as you come in the main doors, slightly to the right. The first 10 couples to book from the show will receive one of our new framed collages. We have a little gift for any bride who books a consult at the show too, a Victoria Secret lip gloss! We are also debuting our brand new Euro shopper bags, in hot pink with our logo in black. The first 100 couples per day get one to collect all their show goodies. Oh, and Randy Fenoli from “Say Yes to the Dress” will be there on Sunday too!

Portland Engagement Session – Courtney + James – East Bank Esplanade

We shot Courtney and James’ fun engagement session a couple of weeks ago, starting at the Chart House where he proposed, then headed down to the East Bank Esplanade. We walked out to the dock and did some evening shots, then headed over to the Salmon Street Fountain to finish up the night. We are shooting their wedding in just a couple of weeks at James’ parents house in Camp Sherman!
