In my excitement about blogging our album wins, I completely forgot to mention that I was awarded my A.F.P. degree last week from the Professional Photographers of Oregon! The degree is awarded for accruing a certain number of merits in print competition and service. I have been working for the past three years towards the degree. With the Kodak Gallery Award (which we won this year for Amie & Joe’s album below) comes a pin that can be attached to the ribbon, and I have been saving my other pins for this very occasion. 🙂
I am also extremely proud to have been named Wedding Photographer of the Year again this year. This was based on highest combined score in the wedding division. Our albums were awarded a 96 for Amie and Joe, an 89 for Emma & Nicholas (will be posting their album soon, it is our new Slimline one seen below!), and an 87 for Kathy & AJ’s.
